Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza (ACFP), the South Florida-based restaurant concept that uses authentic coal-burning ovens, debuts the “Long Hot Meatball Mozzarella Sandwich.”
The new sandwich features Anthony’s signature meatballs, mozzarella cheese and hot finger peppers on homemade focaccia bread. The large, hand-rolled meatballs are slow cooked in tomato sauce – a family recipe ACFP founder Anthony Bruno enjoyed growing up in Brooklyn. The Long Hot Meatball Mozzarella Sandwich is available during lunch and dinner for $8.50.
According to Bruno, the sandwich will stand apart from others in part because of the long hot finger peppers that give it an extra kick of spice and mouthwatering flavor.
