Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza will soon bring its delicious coal-fired taste to Chicago for the first time.
The brand is known for its thin-crust pies, wings and specialties like the eggplant Marino (named for business partner/football legend Dan Marino), which are all cooked in an 800-degree coal-fired oven.
Bruno told Chicago Magazine that he relocated to South Florida from his native Long Island 36 years ago. His first restaurant venture was an Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. In 2002, Anthony’s Coal Fired was born.
“I had actually stopped eating pizza because it just wasn’t good down here [in Fort Lauderdale]. I had to take a shot,” he told the publication.
