Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza Opens Eight Philadelphia-Area Location

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – (August 1, 2016) – Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, the South Florida-based concept that uses authentic coal-burning ovens to create “well done” pizza, opened its eighth Philly-area location in Wynnewood, Pa. on Monday, August 1. The restaurant is located at 50 East Wynnewood Road, off Lancaster Avenue in the Wynnewood Shopping Center.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, which includes founder Anthony Bruno and NFL Hall of Fame legend Dan Marino among several equity partners, has Philadelphia-area locations in Exton, Wayne, Horsham and Wyomissing, Pa., as well as Wilmington and Pike Creek, Del. and Mount Laurel, N.J.

“We have had great success with our recent Mount Laurel opening, and are excited to continue expanding throughout the Philly area,” said Bruno. “We look forward to bringing our authentic coal-fired cooking and signature Italian Soul Food dishes to Wynnewood.”

Hours of operation for the Wynnewood location are 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. In addition to dining in, patrons can carry out by calling (610) 645-5453. A full bar is available at both locations.
