Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza Opens Newton, MA Location
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Jan 18, 2016 – Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, the South Florida-based concept that uses authentic old world, coal-burning ovens to create “well done” pizza, opened its Newton, Mass., location on Monday, January 30. The restaurant is located at 180 Needham Street, just east of I-95 off the Highland Avenue exit.
This is the fifth Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza to open in the Boston area since June 2015. Anthony’s current locations include Westwood, Reading, Northborough and Littleton.
“Our Coal Fired specialties have become so popular in Boston that we continue to expand throughout the region,” said CEO/Founder Anthony Bruno. “We look forward to bringing our award-winning pizza closer to our fans in Newton.”
With a focus on fresh ingredients and authentic recipes, Anthony’s signature menu includes traditional and specialty pizzas with dough made daily and stretched to order; fresh coal-oven-roasted chicken wings; large homemade meatballs from a recipe passed down by Anthony’s grandmother; a classic Italian salad with original dressing; and Eggplant Marino (a favorite of NFL Hall of Fame legend and restaurant partner Dan Marino).
