Anthony’s Opens in Commack, NY

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, the South Florida-based concept that uses authentic coal-burning ovens to create “well done pizza,” is now open in Commack, NY. The newest restaurant – located at 6401 Jericho Turnpike on the corner of Commack Road and Jericho Turnpike – is Anthony’s fourth Long Island location and 37th in the nation.

In addition to successful restaurants in Carle Place and Woodbury, Anthony’s opened a new location in Wantagh last month and has plans for three more in Long Island during the next year –Bohemia, Great Neck and Greenvale.

A Long Island native, founder and CEO Anthony Bruno is thrilled to once again return to his roots and support the region in which he grew up. The company recently donated more than $8,000 from its Wantagh opening to Island Harvest’s Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts.
“I’m proud of the success we’ve experienced on Long Island and look forward to bringing our award-winning pizza and Italian soul food to our friends and family in Commack,” Bruno said.

In addition to a wide beer and wine selection, the Commack location will also feature a full-liquor bar.
Hours of operation for the Commack location will be 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. In addition to dining in, patrons can carry out by calling 631-858-2625.
